Configure the SMF forum posts and topics from your SMF site.

The SMF forum posts and topics can be configure inside your forum menu. It can be configure from the admin panel page of your
site by using the menus forum ->> Posts and topics link from site configuration. Here you can set everything related to posts and postings.

How to configure SMF forum posts and topics on your SMF site

1. Login to your site.

2. Go to Admin->>Forum->>Posts and Topics

3. On the Post setting, you may allow maximum post size, break up word, topic summary, nested quotes, flash embed and etc. See the examples below, 've tested on my forum. Dont forget to save your configuration settings.

4. This is your bulletin board code settings. To enable the bulletin board code (BBC), just simply tick on the box. On this setting you may configure basic html post,link urls, bbc tags and so on.

5. Cersored words is one of the option you may use inside the posts and topics setting.  Click here to add another word. Test the cencored words by clicking the test button. Figure below shows the example setting.

6. This topics settings may able you to set your sticky topics,icons, time topics, numbers of topics,number of posts per page and etc. Below are the example setting for topic. Dont forget to save your setting. Enjoy using SMF!!!
