Installing Etomite CMS on your system
Etomite is a Content Management System, which allows you to remotely administer your website from anywhere that you have an Internet Connection and a compatible Web-Browser. In the context of a Web site a CMS is a collection of tools designed to allow the creation, modification organisation and removal of information from a Web site. It is common for a CMS to require users to have no knowledge of HTML in order to create new Web pages.
How to install etomite cms on your system?
This is the quickstart guide for installing etomite, aimed at people that are used to working with websites, PHP and databases.
Step 1 : Create you database name on your mysql. Create a database and a full-access database user for that database. Run the Command Prompt on the start run button and type cmd. On the Command Prompt, type the command C:\>mysql -u root -p and Enter root password. Entering the mysql database. Type the command as below :
mysql>create database etomite;
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.00 sec)
Step 2 : Extract all the file that you've already download from the mdpro website into the C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs
step 3 : Reminder and Installation Selection
If you have not already done so, please take the time to read the README file. There is also a text version located in the root directory where this package was installed. Doing so could eliminate the possibility of encountering un-needed problems that may occur during your new (or upgrade) installation. If you have any questions about which of the options listed below best suits your needs, please visit the Etomite Forums now. It is much easier to help you before you get into trouble.
NOTE: If you will be performing a New installation you must first rename or copy manager/includes/config.php to manager/includes/config.inc.php and change permissions to writable before proceeding.
Step 4 : New Installation Setup
NOTE: If you are upgrading an existing installation of Etomite, please click your Back button and select Upgrade an existing installation.
Etomite setup has carried out a number of checks to see if everything's ready to start the setup.
Checking PHP version: OK!
Checking if sessions are properly configured: OK!
Checking if assets/cache directory exists: OK!
Checking if assets/cache directory is writable: OK!
Checking if assets/images directory exists: OK!
Checking if assets/images directory is writable: OK!
Checking if assets/export directory exists: OK!
Checking if assets/export directory is writable: OK!
Checking if manager/includes/config.inc.php file exists: OK!
Checking if manager/includes/config.inc.php is writable: OK!
Please enter the name of the database you've created for Etomite. If you haven't created
a database yet, Etomite will attempt to do so for you, but this may fail depending on the
MySQL setup your host uses.
Now you'll need to enter some details for the main Etomite administrator account.
You can fill in your own name here, and a password you're not likely to forget.
You'll need these to log into Etomite once setup is complete.

Step 6 : Etomite setup will now attempt to setup the database
Creating connection to the database: OK!
Selecting database `etomite`: OK!
Checking table prefix `etomite_`: OK!
Importing default site: OK!
Writing configuration file: OK!
Installation was successful! You can now log into the Etomite manager. First thing you need to do is to update and save the Etomite configuration. Etomite will ask you to do so once you've logged in.
Please make sure you CHMOD the config.inc.php file so it is not writeable by anyone other than yourself... Also, don't forget to remove the installer folder, as it is no longer needed.
Step 7 : Please enter your login credentials to start your Etomite session. Your username and password are case-sensitive, so please enter them carefully!
Step 8 : This your etomite portal looks like. Enjoy using etomite cms.
