How to install microsoft visual C++ on windows?

Insert the Microsoft Visual C++ on the CD-ROM drive. Open the file and find for setup.exe. Click 2x on the setup.exe.

This is Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition welcome page. Click next to continue installation.

Accept the license agreement and click next to continue installation.

Select the optional features you would like to install which include Graphical IDE, Microsoft MSDN 2005 Express Edition and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition x86. Click next to continue installation.

Select the location where you would like to install Visual C++ 2005. The default path is like the picture below. Click on the install button to continue installation.
