How to install Moodle?
Download Moodle package from Moodle
website. Extract the package to the apache htdocs folder. Please create your moodle database name in
Mysql. Open your browser and type http://localhost/moodle/install.php. This your first installation looks like. Click on the next button to continue
installation.
Your server checking your PHP settings and should pass all these tests to make Moodle run properly. Click next to proceed next step.
Please confirm the locations of this Moodle installation. Click next to continue installation.
You need to configure the database where most Moodle data will be stored. THis database must already have been created and a username and password created
to access it. Click next to continue.
Checking the various components of your system meet the system requirements.
Continue installation process using the default language pack, “English(en)”. Click next.
Moodle made an attempt to save your configuration in a file in the root of your Moodle installation. Click continue to proceed installation.
This is the Moodle GPL license agreement. Click yes to continue.
Continue to accept the release information.
Moodle is setting up database …… click continue to go next step.
Moodle is setting up module tables … click continue to proceed next step.
Moodle is setting up plugin tables ….. Click continue to proceed next step.
Moodle is upgrading database … click continue to proceed next installation.

This is setup administrator account page. Fill up the compalsory requirement. Click update profile to continue next step.
Put your full site name on the front page setting as below as an example. Save changes and click home button to start your eLearning site.
Congratulations!!!!!! You successfully install Moodle on your machine. This is your Moodle Elearning site. Have fun with Moodle.
