Using vmstat Command in Linux

vmstat command are to view system performance such as of process, memory, swap, I/O, system, and the CPU process which is view in one line of numbers. Here thecommand:

vmstat

vmstat 1 # to displays one new line of utilization dataevery second.

vmstat 1 9 # to displays one new line persecond, but only for the nine seconds.

Output:

vmstat

This command can be used to quick determine performance issue and resource utilization.
